Jewelry Warranty

Jewelry Warranty

At Tin & Turquoise Collective, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our jewelry. Because our pieces are handmade using natural turquoise and sterling silver, proper care is important to maintaining their condition.

3-Month Limited Warranty

All Tin & Turquoise Collective jewelry is covered by a 3-month limited warranty from the original date of purchase against defects in workmanship or materials.

If an item develops an issue that appears to be the result of a manufacturing or workmanship defect within the warranty period, please contact us. We will assess the piece and determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a repair, replacement, or store credit.

What Is Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accidents, impact, improper use, improper care, or failure to follow our jewelry care recommendations.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Stones becoming loose or falling out due to wear, impact, moisture, or improper care
  • Broken, bent, or damaged sterling silver
  • Scratches, dents, tarnishing, or other normal signs of wear
  • Damage caused by showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, working, or other activities
  • Damage caused by perfumes, lotions, chemicals, or cleaning products
  • Lost or stolen jewelry or stones
  • Jewelry altered or repaired by another jeweler or person
  • Natural variations, inclusions, matrix, pits, or characteristics of turquoise and other natural stones

After the Warranty Period

Once the 3-month warranty period has expired, the item is no longer eligible for warranty repair, replacement, return, or refund for damage that occurs after the warranty period.

We may be able to recommend a jeweler or silversmith for repairs on older pieces, but any repair outside of the warranty period will be at the customer's expense and is not guaranteed.

Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, please contact cs@tinandturquoise.ca with your order number or proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the jewelry.

Please do not send jewelry to us without contacting us first.

Warranty claims must be submitted within the 3-month warranty period. We reserve the right to inspect the jewelry before determining whether an issue is covered.

Caring for Your Jewelry

Turquoise and handmade jewelry require proper care. Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, working, or exposing it to excessive moisture, chemicals, or impact.

Store your jewelry in a cool, dry place and avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, and cleaning products.

Our jewelry is made to be worn and enjoyed, but proper care is essential to keeping your pieces beautiful for years to come.
